The Book Loft of German Village is one of the nation’s largest independent bookstores. The pre-Civil War era buildings are now home to 32 rooms of a vast stock of new bargain books, unique greeting cards, jigsaw puzzles, posters, and the latest popular and classic board games. Music available for sale plays on 18 sound systems throughout the store.

Friends of the Library is a nonprofit 501(c)(4) organization made up of customers and advocates passionate about Columbus Metropolitan Library. They sell used books online, at library locations, and at Big Book Sales. Proceeds from sales support the library and grassroots advocacy efforts to ensure it will remain open to all for years to come.

Gigi’s
Gigi’s is a regional dog care nonprofit with a full-spectrum approach to getting homeless dogs from rural communities home faster and healthier. They provide dogs in shelters and rescues access to quality housing, veterinary, behavior, and adoption services. Gigi’s focuses on system improvement that supports rural shelters and rescues in Ohio through intentional program development, public-private partnerships, and organizational sustainability.

Next Chapter Book Club
Next Chapter Book Club is an international book club program for adults with disabilities, regardless of reading level. Each week, small groups gather in bookstores, libraries, and cafés to socialize and read together. Members choose the books they read while volunteers help guide meetings.

Read. Pray. Write. Podcast
The Read. Pray. Write. Spiritual Reading for Modern Life podcast, now in its sixth season, promotes the idea that intentional reading can be a meditative act. Rooted in the ancient practice of lectio divina and adapted for modern seekers, the series features guided meditations of contemporary books, music and art; interviews with faith-forward creatives; and panel discussions.

Realeyes Program
Realeyes is a program with a goal to educate students in Ohio about eye health and safety. Healthy vision is important for book lovers of all ages and Realeyes makes learning about eyes fun.

Thurber House
A nonprofit arts hub, James Thurber museum, gathering place for readers, writers, and artists of all ages. Programs include author events, social events for book lovers, creative workshops for all ages, writer residencies, & the Thurber Prize for American Humor, one of the highest awards for humor writing & cartooning in the US.

Troy-Miami County Public Library
The Troy-Miami County Public Library is 20 miles north of Dayton that features strong programming, an interactive Maker Lab, and a library social worker. They will be promoting their programming and samples of ways that festival attendees can use the Troy Maker Lab in their own bookish endeavors.

WOSU Public Media
The mission of WOSU Public Media is to enrich lives across Ohio through content and experiences that engage, inform and inspire.
